Sacral Subluxation
The sacrum is the triangular bone at the base of the spine that connects to the pelvis through the sacroiliac joints. When these joints become restricted or irritated, it can cause low back pain, buttock pain, and discomfort that spreads into the hips or legs. In chiropractic, this kind of joint dysfunction is often described as a subluxation.
Sacroiliac joint problems are a recognized source of low back and pelvic pain, and manual therapy is commonly used to address them. Our chiropractors use hands-on evaluation to assess how the sacrum and pelvis are moving, then apply precise, comfortable adjustments to restore normal motion.
We also look at contributing factors such as leg length differences, core strength, and daily habits, so the relief you feel can last.
