Dr. Eveline Onkels grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. She attended a French, Catholic school there and it is there that she became fluent in Lebanese, French and English. During the civil war in Lebanon in the mid-70’s she and her family immigrated first to England for a year and then to the United States.

After graduating high school at an accelerated rate she entered college at the age of 16. Eventually she became a respiratory therapist and worked at City of Hope Hospital for many years. It was always one of Dr. Onkels passions to become a doctor, especially an OB-GYN. However, with the influence and advice of a brother who was a chiropractic student at the time and a brother-in-law who was a chiropractor in private practice, she decided to enter Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles to also become a chiropractor. “So many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health,” states Dr. Onkels. “There is no better way to preserve your health than through safe, effective chiropractic care.”

Dr. Onkels treats a wide spectrum of patients from geriatrics to personal injury cases with a speciality in pediatrics/pregnancy. She is certified in the Webster technique and is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

She resides in Layton with her husband and daughters where she enjoys cooking, catching up on medical literature as well as watching inspirational, non-fictional stories.
